A one-day dynamic and interactive learning experience where you solve the problems that you identify! Only $499 for new registrants and $399 for former Alabama Mediation Training registrants. ABOUT THIS TRAINING SESSION
An interactive Advanced Mediation course designed to teach mediators tips and techniques for tackling impasse and other problems commonly experienced in mediations. In this course, specific problems will be identified and then addressed with techniques unique to each individual hurdle, such as questions, active listening, reframing/summarizing, active listening, brainstorming, and principled negotiations. This is an interactive, participatory, and demonstrative experience, not merely a lecture. Class size is limited.

This course will be held at the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa.
CLE CREDIT SOUGHT
Six (6) hours of continuing legal education credit is provided in this course.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Cooper Shattuck
Cooper Shattuck has been a registered mediator since 1998 and has extensive negotiation and mediation experience. In addition to this 30 years' practice experience in state and federal courts handling many complex litigation matters, he served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law for over 14 years, teaching classes including Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiations. he has also completed the Harvard Program on Negotiation's Executive Training Program and has served on the Alabama Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution for eight years. He is also a frequent CLE speaker. In addition to his own law practice, he co-founded Cartography Consulting in 2017, providing marketing solutions and consulting services to lawyers and law firms.

You must cancel within 72 hours prior to the first day of the seminar to have your registration fee fully refunded. All cancellations must be received via email.
If this training session must be canceled or rescheduled, your registration fee will either be (1) refunded in full or (2) transferred to another training session.
